هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد الإطار المفاهيمي للتصنيفات العالمية للجامعات، والتعرف على أشهر هذه التصنيفات والمعايير التي تعتمد عليها ومؤثراتها وأوزانها النسبية، وكذلك تشخيص واقع ترتيب الجامعات المصربة والسعودية في التصنيفات العالمية، واقتراح بعض الآليات لتحسين ترتيب الجامعات في التصنيفات العالمية للجامعات. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى بعض الآليات لتعزيز كفاءة الجامعات المصرية والسعودية لتحسين ترتيبها في التصنيفات العالمية، وأوصت بتعزيز نثر مفهوم التصنيف العالمي للجامعات من خلال عقد الدورات التدريبية، والندوات، وإقامة المؤتمرات. The study aimed at defining the conceptual framework of the international classifications of universities, identifying the most famous of these classifications and the criteria on which they depend, their indicators and their relative weights, as well as diagnosing the reality of the ranking of Egyptian and Saudi universities in the international classifications and proposing some mechanisms to improve the ranking of universities in the international classifications of universities. The study reached some mechanisms to enhance the efficiency of Egyptian and Saudi universities to improve their ranking in international classifications. The study recommended promoting the dissemination of the concept of the international classification of universities by holding training courses, seminars and conferences. (Published abstract)
