The study aimed to identify the level of emotional intelligence of managers and its relationship to improve their performance from the point of view of supervisors in the schools of the basic stage in the West Gaza Educational Zone of UNRWA. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used and the questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The study community consists of educational supervisors in the elementary schools in the western Gaza governorate. The study found that the level of emotional intelligence of the principals of the primary schools in the West Gaza Educational Zone of UNRWA from the point of view of supervisors was average with a relative weight of 66.291%. And that the performance of school principals was high with a relative weight of 71.187%. A statistically significant correlation was found between the level of emotional intelligence of managers and the improvement of their performance. And there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the sample members of the study on the level of emotional intelligence of managers attributed to gender variables and the number of years of service.
