The current study aimed at identifying the contribution of self – confidence and level of aspiration in predicting the academic giftedness among the students of secondary school. The study sample consisted of (196) second year students during the year (2014-2015) in Khartoum state. The researcher used two scales as a measure of self – confidence, and the measure of the level of aspiration. The results revealed that there were statistical significant relations between the academic giftedness and self – confidence on one hand, and between the academic giftedness and the level of aspiration on the other. The self – confidence contributed with (24%) in predicting the academic giftedness, and the level of aspiration contributed with (34%) in predicting the academic giftedness. (Published Abstract)
