Arab Educational Information Network

The aim of the study is discover the best method in teaching mathematics which preferred by teachers and students in the institute of training. The sample contains (25) teachers and (30) students in the fifth grade. The research build up a questionnaire and this contains (15) items concerning different methods of teaching mathematics. In order to find out the result, the researcher used formal index according to learn scale. Results indicated that the sample of the study prefer direct method problem solving and Discovery methods should be used in teaching mathematics while they are not willing to use computer and inter-net in teaching mathematics . Some recommendation and suggestion are offered. (Published Abstract)
