هدفت الدراسة إلى تقنين اختبار المصفوفات المتتابعة العادي لرافن- للفئة العمرية من 8- 18 سنة في البيئة الفلسطينية لتوفير أداة مقننة لقياس الذكاء تكون صالحة للتطبيق. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من 3495 طالبا وطالبة (1678، من الذكور، و1817 من الإناث) الملتحقين بمدارس التعليم العام الحكومية في محافظات غزة. وتم استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية الملائمة للتعرف على الخصائص السيكومترية، واستخراج المعايير الفلسطينية للاختبار. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن اختبار (رافن) يتمتع بمؤشرات عالية من الصدق والثبات، كما بينت النتائج أن متوسط الأداء على اختبار (رافن) يزداد مع التقدم بالعمر، وأنه لا توجد فروق بين الجنسين في الأداء على الاختبار، وأن درجات أفراد العينة على الاختبار تميل إلى التوزيع الطبيعي (الاعتدالي)، كما اتضح أن الرتب المئينية أنسب المعايير لتفسير الدرجات الخام للاختبار. The present study aimed at standardizing Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices test used for age group (8-18) years in Palestinian society for the purpose of getting a standardized instrument measuring intelligence. The study sample consisted of (3495) students (1678) males and (1817) females enrolled in general education governmental schools in Gaza governorates. Appropriate statistical techniques were used to identify the psychometric properties and to elicit the Palestinian norms of the test. Results showed that Raven's test had high degrees of validity and reliability. The results also revealed that performance mean increased with age progressing, and that there were no differences in performance between males and females. Moreover, it was shown that the participants' scores in the test tended to normal distribution, and percentile ranks were best used for interpreting test raw scores. (Published Abstract)
