This study aimed to identify the degree practicing self- leadership among secondary school principals in the domains of (planning, professional development, and application of the powers, evaluation, and Finance) in secondary schools from their point of view, also the study aimed to detect if there are statistical significant differences at the significance level of (.0.0≤α) on the domains due to the variables (scientific qualification, years of experience, training, and specialization). Methodology & Questionnaire: The researcher used the descriptive survey. The researcher prepared & developed a questionnaire consisted of one tool, focused on measuring the degree practicing self- leadership among secondary school principals, consisted of (58) items, distributed in five domains. Validity and reliability y coefficient were ensured for the tool. Study Population: The study population consisted of all public school principals at Al- Qunfudah governorate, and numbered (N=52). Study Results: The findings of the study were: • The degree practicing self- leadership among secondary school principals showed a (medium) degree on the tool as a whole. • There are no statistical significant differences at the significance level of (,.,5≤α) on the tool as a whole, due to the variables (scientific qualification, years of experience, training, specialization). • There are statistical significant differences at the significance level of (.0.0≤α) on the domain (professional development), due to the variable (scientific qualification). • There are statistical significant differences at the significance level of (.0.0≤α) on the domain (Finance), due to the variable (training). Recommendations: In light of the study findings, the researcher recommends: A allowing the principals of the schools to participate in personal interviews with applicants for vacancies at the school; Supporting schools financially to be able to contract with training institutions so as to implement training programs for teachers; Granting schools the ability to accept donations without reference to the Department of Education.
