هدفت هذه الدّراسة للتعرف إلى مدى تضمين كتب التربية الوطنية للمفاهيم والقيم الوطنية في المرحلة الأساسية العليا من وجهة نظر المعلمين في مديرية تربية إربد الأولى, وتكون افراد عينة الدراسة من (98) معلم ومعلمة وتكونت أداة الدراسة من استبانة موزعة على مجالين الأول للمفاهيم الوطنية وتكون من (21) فقرة والثاني للقيم الوطنية وتكون من (20) فقرة وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي, واظهرت نتائج الدراسة ان درجة تضمين كتب التربية الوطنية للمفاهيم الوطنية للمرحلة الأساسية العليا من وجهة نظر المعلمين كانت بدرجة مرتفعة, في حين كانت درجة تضمين الكتب للقيم الوطنية بدرجة متوسطة, كما اظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لتقديرات المعلمين لدرجة التضمين للمفاهيم والقيم الوطنية تعزى للجنس والخبرة ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي, وفي ضوء النتائج قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات. The study aimed to identify the extent of embedding national values and concepts in national education textbooks in the high basic stage from the teachers' perspectives in the directorate of education in province of Irbid. The sample of the study consisted of (98) teachers from both genders. The tool of study consisted of a questionnaire distributed between two areas. The first related to national concepts and consisted of (21) paragraphs, and the second for national values and consisted of (20) paragraphs. The descriptive approach was applied. The results of the study have shown that the extent of embedding national values and concepts in national education textbooks in the high basic stage from the teachers' perspectives was with high degree. Whereas the extent of embedding national values was medium degree. There are no statistical significant for the evaluations of teachers on the degree of including national concepts and values due to the variables of gender and experience. There are statistical significant due to the variable of scientific qualification. According to the results, the researcher has recommended set of recommendations and suggestions. (Author’s abstract)
