هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على واقع الذكاءات المتعددة لدى طلبة كليات المجتمع اليمنية ، ولتحقيق ذلك تم اختيار عينة من طلبة كلية المجتمع الخبت م/المحويت بالجمهورية اليمنية مكونة من 83 طالبا و طالبة بواقع (40) ذكور و (43) اناث ، و استخدم الباحث مقياس ماكينز لمسح الذكاءات المتعددة و الذي اشتمل على 90 فقرة موزعة على تسعة ذكاءات ( اللغوي اللفظي – المنطقي الرياضي - المكاني البصري – الجسمي الحركي – الموسيقي - البين شخصي الاجتماعي – الضمن شخصي الذاتي – الطبيعي- الوجودي) لكل ذكاء عشر فقرات لجمع البيانات، و لمعالجة البيانات استخدم الباحث البرنامج الاحصائي SPSS))، و أظهرت النتائج أن أفراد عينة الدراسة يمتلكون الذكاءات (اللغوي اللفظي – المنطقي الرياضي - المكاني البصري – الجسمي الحركي – الضمن شخصي الذاتي – الطبيعي- الوجودي ) بدرجة متوسطة ، بينما الذكاء الاجتماعي حصل على المتوسط الأكبر، و جاء الذكاء الموسيقي منخفظا، كما بينت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في واقع الذكاءات المتعددة لدى عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير النوع، باستثناء الذكاء المنطقي اذ وجدت به فروق لصالح الذكور، و في ضوء ما توصلت له الدراسة من نتائج تم تقديم جملة من التوصيات من أهمها ضرورة تنمية الوعي بالذكاءات المتعددة من حيث الأهمية و أساليب تطبيقها لدى الطلبة و المعلمين.(الملخص المنشور)

The study aimed to identify the existence of multiple intelligences among community college students in the Republic of Yemen. To achieve this, a sample of students from the Mahaweet Community College in Mahweet, Yemen was selected. This group was composed of 83 students, consisting of 40 males and 43 females. The researcher used McKenzie’s multiple intelligences survey, which constitutes 90 questions, 9 of which assess a type of intelligence: Verbal, Logical, Naturalist, Musical, Existential, Interpersonal, Kinesthetic, Intrapersonal, and Visual. To collect and manipulate data, the statistical package SPSS was used. The results showed that the sample possessed the following types of intelligences moderately: Verbal, Logical, Naturalist, Existential, Kinesthetic, Intrapersonal, and Visual. Interpersonal intelligence had the highest average and musical intelligence the lowest. The results also showed that there was no significant statistical difference in multiple intelligence test due to gender among the sample, with the small exception of males who proved to be better in the logical intelligence section than females. After the study was conducted, participants were given information explaining the importance of multiple intelligences and ways to apply them.(Published Abstract)
