يستعرض الباحث تجربة بعض أقسام الإعلام وكلياته ومعاهده في المنطقة العربية في مجال تدريس الأنواع الصحفية (Journalistic Genres) من ناحية المضمون، والمدة الزمنية، وطرق التدريس. وحاول أن يكشف عن حدود هذا التدريس من ناحية تناسق مساقاته عبر مراحل التعليم الجامعي، وغياب بعض الأنواع الصحفية في الخطط الدراسية، وبيّن الحدود المعرفية في هذا التدريس على ضوء التغييرات الكبرى الذي يعيشها عالم الإعلام والاتصال، والتي طرحت الكثير من التساؤلات عن هوية الصحافي ودوره، ومكانة الجمهور المشارك بفاعلية في العملية الإعلامية التي تتسم بالتفاعلية، والتغيير الحاصل في مفهوم النص الصحفي وأشكال بنائه. لقد سعت أقسام الإعلام وكلياته ومعاهده في المنطقة العربية لتلبية حاجات سوق العمل، من خلال ربط البعدين النظري والعملي في تعليم الصحافيين. هذا ما يثبته تزودها بمختبرات المكنتوش واستوديوهات الإذاعات والتلفزيون. لكن هذا المسعى يظل يعاني من عدة نقائص، منها، هشاشة التعاون بين الأكاديميين والمهنيين في مجال تعليم الصحافيين من جهة، وسقوط مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي في الامتثال، بمعنى أنها تعيد إنتاج قوالب الكتابة الصحفية ذاتها، وكأنها قوالب جامدة لا تتطور بتطور متغيرات العمل الإعلامي، كما تكشف عنه الممارسة الإعلامية الحديثة في العالم وفي المنطقة العربية ذاتها. ويبرهن الباحث على أن تدريس الأنواع الصحفية تحوّل في بعض أقسام الإعلام وكلياته في المنطقة العربية إلى مسألة تقنية أو شكلية، لا يستفيد من الزاد المعرفي في مجال سوسيولوجية وسيميولوجية الإعلام والاتصال، واقتصاد المؤسسات الإعلامية، وفلسفة الاتصال في ظل الشبكات الاجتماعية في الإنترنت. The researcher aims to study the experiments of some mass communication departments and colleges in the Arab countries in the pedagogical of the journalistic genres in terms of content, span of time, and teaching methods. Based on the above, the researcher tries to identify certain parameters at the college level. For example, there is a need for examining the journalistic genres in the curriculum plans. Also, there is a need for figuring out the epistemological boundaries in the educational process and how this relates to the new changes in the field of mass media studies. Other areas of investigation include the identity of the contemporary journalist, interactivity, and the changing nature and structure of the journalistic text. Even though many of the media schools and departments try their best to supply the market with well-trained media personnel, they still face many obstacles. First, there is no mutual cooperation between scholars of communication and media studies, on the one hand, and professional media personnel, on the other hand, in educating journalists. Second, many of the schools and departments of media studies do not offer innovative courses that meet the requirements of new media organizations in the Arab World. Thus, the researcher demonstrates that the teaching of journalistic genres has become a technical issue that benefits neither the scientific contributions of sociology and semiotics of mass media or the philosophy of communication in the age of social networks.
