هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل الأسباب والعوامل المؤدية إلى تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي في اللغة العربية لدى تلاميذ الحلقة الثالثة مرحلة التعليم الأساسي من وجهة نظر المعلمين بمحلية الخرطوم قطاع وسط، ومعرفة أسبابه وعوامله، وسعت الباحثة لتحقيق هذا الهدف من خلال دراسة واقع التدني كما قامت بتتبع أسباب وعوامل التدني من خلال دراسة ميدانية في مدارس محلية الخرطوم قطاع وسط من وجهة نظر معلمي هذه الحلقة. كذلك تضمنت هذه الدراسة بعض الدراسات السابقة التي تناولت تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي في اللغة العربية في مرحلتي الأساس والثانوي. وللقيام بالدراسة الميدانية صممت الباحثة كأداة استبانة لمعرفة آراء المعلمين في تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي في اللغة العربية لتلاميذ الحلقة الثالثة في محلية الخرطوم قطاع وسط واختارت منهم عينة بلغ عددها 46 معلما ومعلمة وذلك بغرض التعرف على أسباب التدني والعوامل التي أدت إليه. إستخدمت الباحثة في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. أشارت النتائج إلى أن 1) هنالك عوامل وأسباب اجتماعية أثرت في تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي. 2) هنالك عوامل وأسباب اقتصادية أثرت في تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي. 3) هنالك عوامل وأسباب نفسية أثرت في تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي. 4) هنالك عوامل وأسباب متعلقة بالبيئة المدرسية أثرت في تدني مستوى التحصيل الدراسي. The study aimed to analyzing the factors and reasons which led to the decline of the level of school achievement in Arabic language, of the pupils of third grade (Basic education) at Khartoum locality, central sector and its reasons. The researcher attempted to realize this objective by studying the reality of decline as well as tracing the reasons of this decline through a field study in the schools of Khartoum locality, central sectors, from the points of view of the teachers of this grade. Also this study reviewed some previous studies that dealt with the decline of the level of school achievement in Arabic language in basic and secondary stages. To conduct this study the researcher designed a questionnaire to explore the opinions of teachers on the decline of the level of Arabic language among third grade pupils at Khartoum locality, central sector and selected randomly a sample of 46 male and female teachers from them to get acquaintance with reasons and factors which led to the decline. In this study the researcher adopted the descriptive methodology. These findings of the study indicated the existence of social economic and psychological factors affecting decline of the level. Furthermore, there are reasons related to school environment the syllabus, teaching methods and learning techniques. In the light of these findings, the researchers set forth a number of recommendations; the most important of them include the following: 1) to strengthen the relationship between the school and the family to get acquainted with the social, economic and psychological situations. 2) To the appoint social workers and psychiatrists in basic schools at Khartoum locality, central sector. 3) to train teachers on method and learning techniques during service, particularly Arabic language teachers at Khartoum Locality, central Sector. 4) To revise the syllabus in the light of some scientific studies that focused on analysis and evaluation of this syllabus.
