هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين الذكاء الوجداني والاحتراق النفسي لدى معلمات رياض الأطفال، والتعرف على أثر بعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية مثل: السن والخبرة التريسية والراتب، على الذكاء الوجداني والاحتراق النفسي. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 305 من معلمات رياض أطفال من العاملات بالمدارس الحكومية والخاصة بمحافظتي القاهرة والجيزة. إستخدمت الباحثة مقياس نسبة الذكاء الوجداني لبار-أون، ومقياس الاحتراق النفسي للمعلمين. وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائيا بين الذكاء الوجداني والاحتراق النفسي (الدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية). بالإضافة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات معلمات رياض الأطفال مرتفعات ومنخفضات الذكاء الوجداني في الاحتراق النفسي (الدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية) لصالح مرتفعات الذكاء الوجداني. وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين مجموعات الدراسة في الذكاء الوجداني تعزى إلى أي من السن والخبرة التدريسية والراتب. وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين مجموعات الدراسة في الاحتراق النفسي تعزى إلى أي من السن والخبرة التدريسية والراتب. The research aims at exploring the relationship between emotional intelligence and burnout of kindergarten teachers. In addition to identifying the impact of some demographic variables such as: age, teaching experience and salary on emotional intelligence and burnout. The sample consisted of 305 kindergarten teachers working at Private and public schools in both Cairo and Giza governorate. The researcher used Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory and Teacher Burnout Inventory. Results showed a statistical significant negative correlation between emotional intelligence and burnout (total score and subscales). In addition, there are statistical significant differences between means scores of higher and lower emotional intelligence kindergarten teachers in burnout (total score and subscales) in favor to higher emotional intelligence kindergarten teachers. No statistical significant differences were found among the study groups, in relation to emotional intelligence, due to any of age, teaching experience and salary.
