The objectives of the research focused on identifying the most important obstacles that affect the teaching capabilities of sport teachers in Karbala governorate, and knowing the differences between male/female teachers of the effect of those obstacles. The assumption is that there are affects by these obstacles on the teaching capabilities. This research have applied on male/female sport teachers in the schools of Karbala governorate from 26/11/2009 – 24/12/2009 by using descriptive method by distributing forms on teachers (90) ; (60 male, and 30 female) this form presented to experts, they found the survey is reliable, and the correctness coefficient of it was (87%), and sustainability coefficient was for males (90%), for females (94), the form collected after filled by teachers. Then the data treated statistically and discussed scientifically depending on the related references, and then we come to conclusion that identifying what the teacher of sport suffering from of teaching obstacles. And some teachers of sport preferred to do managerial work instead of their work. In the light of those conclusions the two researchers recommended that to increase the visits by supervisors to newly appointed sport teachers, and conducting sport festivals among several governorates, and the talented teachers should be rewarded.
