The research aims to identify Effectiveness of Electronic mind mapping strategy by using smart board in some of the habits of the intermediate second grade students of biology. To achieve the aim of the research experiment carried out on a second grade students average in the medium of the Republic of girls as a sample for research and randomly selected from among 23 middle and high school affiliated to the Directorate of Education of Diwaniyah has a computer lab and smart blackboard, consisted research sample of 54 students, 27 students in the each of the two groups and were rewarded with the two groups، and to verify the hypothesis adopted researcher measure of some of the habits of mind consists of 30 paragraph the validity and reliability and applied after the end of the experiment، and the results showed no statistically significant differences between mean scores of some of the habits of mind among the students in the experimental group scale The students of the control group and in favor of students in the experimental group. In light of the findings the researcher concluded that the effectiveness of the mental map strategy in the teaching of biology and habits of mind some of the female students in the second grade intermediate.
