The current research aims to identify the level of logical reasoning skills among preparatory school students, differences in skills level according to gender variable (male, female) and academic specialization (scientific, literary) and The sample consists of (400) students and the researcher built a logical reasoning test which includes(6)sub-skills are: Inference (proportional, probability, compositional, assumption, logical measurement, adjust variables). Its psychometric characteristics were verified by the apparent truth, the discriminating force, the difficulty of the paragraph, and the relationship between the degree of the paragraph and the degree. The following statistical methods were used: (Kai, Pearson, Pearson, Spearman Brown, Corrective, One-Test, Binary Analysis). The results showed that the students possess the skills of structural and plausible reasoning and that the males have the skills of proportional and synthetic reasoning more than females and that the students of the scientific branch possess the skills of logical inferences.
