This research work aims at knowing the social representation of the nursery for parents. This representation consists of the ideas, perceptions, beliefs, opinions and attitudes that parents hold towards the nursery. To carry out this work, the researcher used a multi-methodological approach, which is based on the characterized questionnaire of Claude Flament and the verbal association of Anna maria Silvana de Rosa. This method of working was applied to a sample of 174 fathers and through which the researcher found that early education defines the social representation of the nursery by parents. Thus, it is well known that the main role of the nursery is to ensure the psychical, social and cognitive development of the child. (Published Abstract)
