Patterns of school problems in students with attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity at the primary level, as assessed by student guides [article]
This research aimed to find out the most prevailing patterns of school problems of the students with attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity at the primary level schools according to students’ counselors in Al Rass province. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the population of the research involved students’ counselors at governmental primary schools during the school year 1437-1438 H. The sample of the study is (40) male and female counselors. The researcher used observation card to collect the data. The research found out that school problems, such as: is not interested in doing the homework, and the inability to manage his spare time, avoids playing with his mates, and weak participation in school activities spread highly. Whereas, problems such as: running away from school the whole day, and run away from school to hang out in the street, spread in a lowgrade. However, the rest of the problems are spread moderately. There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (a≥0,05) in the estimation of school problems prevailing among students with attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity at the primary level schools depending on the sex of the counselors in favor of (males), and lack of statistically significant differences at the significance level (a≥0,05) in the estimation of school problems prevailing among students with attention deficit disorder accompanied by hyperactivity at the primary schools depending on years of career and professional qualification.
