The study aimed to reveal the contemporary professional education standards contained Islamic Education Textbooks basic upper stage in Jordan. A descriptive approach based on content analysis was used ,The study sample consisted of the same study community, the Islamic Education Textbooks basic higher stage released by the Ministry of Education for the academic year 2017/2018 and taught in all schools in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher built a list of contemporary professional standards and then developed a tool to analyze the books mentioned, the study included a tool on five axes included thirty benchmark professionally contemporary The fifth axis (household sciences) ranked first, with repetitions (167) times, and by (26.55%), which is a high percentage. The agricultural axis ranked second with (160) percentage, (25.43%), While the (Commercial) axis came in third place with(136) reputation, with percentage (21.62%), which is a medium percentage, and the industrial axis in fourth place with a reputation (88) with percentage (13.9%), (Health & Safety) ranked fifth with a reputation reached (78) with percentage reached (12.40)% which is thelowest rate, and the results of the study revealed the low availability of contemporary professional standards in those books. In light of the findings, the researcher recommended the inclusion of vocational dimension in the books of Islamic education core upperhigh stage in Jordan, to enter information and professional concepts, or linking content topics and issues an appropriate professional.
