The objective of this research is to determine the response type (a drop-down menu / multiple-choice) appropriate for use in the design of electronic tests, and to achieve the goal of the research; the researcher designed and produced an educational program based on blended learning, and preparation of achievement e-test according to the two independent variables linked to the content of education, then the experiment was conducted on a sample of students from first grade secondary school in Jeddah reached (60) students, for the academic year 1437-1438AH, where the sample was divided randomly into two experimental: group (1): drop-down menu the response type group has consisted of 30 students, group(2): Multiple choice response type group has consisted of 30 students. Research tool have been applied to members of the post research sample, and the results showed there is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of group (response drop-down menu), and a group (in response Multiple choice) in the post test of knowledge in mathematics subject. On the basis of the above results, the research recommends with the following: Theability to rely on any of the two types of response used in the research and proved to be equally effective in the development of cognitive achievement in the design of electronic tests.
