The leadership role conducted by the goal keeper is considered one of the most important roles of the team members. The goal keeper works to increase the solidarity among the team, provides them with the best chances of cooperation and improves the human relationships among them which in turn attempt to carry out the required goals with the maximum effort in order to raise the group status. Therefore, the importance of this research lies in conducting this study to know the relationship between the gal keepers' leadership behavior and the team solidarity in Iraqi sport teams, though there is scarcity of studies which have been conducted on the leadership behavior of goal keepers in sport clubs. This research aims to know the relationship between the goal keepers' leadership behavior and the solidarity of the football team. The researcher used the descriptive approach by the surveying method and the coefficient of correlations. The sample included some Iraqi football teams of the Iraqi premier league. Also, he used the measurement of leadership behavior of goal keepers. Consequently, the researcher concluded that there is significant relationship between the goal keepers' leadership behavior and the sport team solidarity among players. (Published Abstract)
