The research launched from convinced that the trend towards the application of political and economic standards of globalization in all social systems, particularly the education system, regardless of its advantages and disadvantages, is a grave error. So, the research sought to identify the effects of the political and economic standards of globalization on the education system planning process, and determine the requirements should be available in educational planning process to overcome the effects posed by the political and economic standards of globalization. The research found that the societal and educational status of the Egyptian society were affected by the application of these standards, also it found that the effects of globalization standards affect all the elements that constituting the educational planning process, beginning of setting the goals which educational planning seeks to implement, passing by those responsible for the planning process (educational planners), the most important ways and methods (approachs and techniques) used in educational planning process, and financing of educational plans. Then, the research presented a set of requirements to be met in the educational planning process to overcome the effects of globalization standards, The research has identified it into requirements relating to the objectives of educational planning, requirements relating to the educational planner, requirements relating to the educational planning approachs and techniques, requirements relating to financing of educational plans, and requirements relating to the preparation of educational plans. Hence, the research recommended the necessity of reconsider the educational planning process Completely, not in order to give up it as a necessary tool to achieve the desired economic and social development in the society, but to confirm its response to the changing needs of the society on one hand, and to deal with the effects imposed by the the political and economic standards of globalization on the educational system in the society on the other hand.(Published Abstract)
