The present study aimed to detect trends in colleges of education students- Salman Bin Abdul Aziz University about the practice of voluntary work, and what the volunteer work that they want to exercise it, its impact on the life skills to have, as well as to identify obstacles to the work of voluntary enrollment. The researcher used two entrances of the entrances to the descriptive approach: the entrance Documentary Studies Documentary Approach)) to clarify the theoretical background for volunteer work, and the entrance to the social survey sample Survey Approach)) to investigate the students of colleges of education trends toward volunteer work through the application of a questionnaire on a stratified random sample composed of (373 students) students from colleges of education (output - Dallam – and Wadi Dawaser) at the University of Salman bin Abdul Aziz It was the application of one-way analysis of variance to determine significant differences between the study sample in response to the dimensions of volunteer work, depending on location and specialization, and the application of Schaffer test to determine the direction of any differences in favor of a class of variable categories Results of the study have resulted in the average practice of colleges of education students for volunteer work is very weak. The results of the study, positive attitudes towards voluntary work, where it came to help and care for the poor and needy, and followed by visits to the sick, and then participate in humanitarian relief, and care for the disabled, and the preservation of the environment, and raise awareness of the effects of smoking and harmful drug in breast areas students to participate. Though less attractive areas of volunteer work for the participation of university students are civil defense, and to help sports clubs, and child care. The results of the study to gain new skills, and increasing experience, and leisure useful things time, and assistance in the service of society, and self-confidence, and the development of the social profile in the forefront of the benefits that accrue to young people as a result of their participation in voluntary work, and they see a very high importance The results of the study to the lack of statistically significant differences between students of colleges of education attitudes towards the practice of voluntary work axes, and the obstacles that prevent their participation in voluntary work, and methods necessary to activate the participation of female students in volunteer work and mechanisms attributed to any of the variable college place or Specialization.
