The aim of the study is to identify the level of development of listening skills and their use in the recitation of the holy Quran among the students of the primary stage from the point of view of students in Mafraq governorate in Jordan. The impact of language and educational activities in developing listening skills is defined. The significance of the differences in the level of development of listening skills and their employment is defined according to the difference of the students' sections and the interaction between them. To achieve the objective of the study, the first two tools were prepared, consisting of two questionnaires; the first one consists of (27) paragraphs and the second one consists of (13) paragraphs using the observation tool. After verifying the validity and consistency of the indicators, they were applied to a sample of (155) male students from the primary stage (grades 6 and 7) in Mafraq governorate, which were randomly selected. The results of the study indicate that the level of development of listening skills in the recitation of the holy Quran among students of the primary stage from the point of view of students in Mafraq governorate was generally average. Meanwhile, the impact of educational activities was ranked first and at an average level. The impact of the language ranked second with an average level. The results also showed statistically significant differences due to the impact of the grade in favor of the sixth grade, differences due to the section's impact on section (b), and the absence of differences due to the impact of the interaction between the class as a whole and the section. The results also showed that the level of the use of listening skills in the recitation of the holy Quran in the students of the primary stage, the paragraph "the student repeats what he hears from the teacher" came in the first place in terms of frequencies and percentages at the seventh and sixth grades, while the paragraph, "the teacher uses the recorder to listen to the holy Quran’s verses recited by well-known reciters" came in the last rank among seventh and sixth graders.
