The study aimed to discuss the relationship between the cognitive load and perception skills such hearing, visual , mental, and physical - sense perception, for a sample of (120) students , sixth grade primary classified as academic learning disabled of various schools in Riyadh , For this purpose,the researcher developed ameasure of the burden of the cognitive ecomponent(40 )paragraph in the light of research and previous studies taking into account the psychological foundations of design. standards has been prepared by the researcher has been prepared questioners of cognitive load for special needs and perception skills for special, the study results has presence of a negative statistically significant relationship between the scores of students in the questioner of cognitive load and sample grades in the questioner of perception skills (visual , mental, and physical - sense, hence the study points to the need to alleviate the cognitive load for academic learning difficulties , or attempt to provide solutions for the development of the variables associated with cognitive load , such as working memory and long term memory In light of the results researcher suggested number of recommendation sand future studies.(Published Abstract)
