The objective of this research was to determine the appropriate colour coding pattern during the design of the educational web site. The experimental method has been used in the research. The research sample was divided into two experimental groups (30) student, for each. Each group exercised education by a pattern of colour coding patterns and the experiment has been carried out during the second semester of the academic year 1435/1436 AH. To achieve this goal two educational web pages have been designed, every page contains a specific pattern of colour coding patterns and designing a achievement test (30) items, distributed among multiple-choice questions , the right and wrong , completing the spaces and note card skills. The research results have shown that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in the measurement of the achievement test and post card note for the first experimental group which studied the first style (colour coding of the text), as well as the study revealed that statistically significant differences between the two groups in the measurement of the application skills for the first experimental group.
