The present study sought to achieve the following objectives: identifying the degree of need organizational citizenship behavior at the general directorate for education in the Riyadh from the from the viewpoint of female department directors, their assistants , and the educational supervisors in the general directorate of education in Riyadh, as well as detecting the statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) - if any - among the averages of the study sample responses in determining the degree of need of organizational citizenship behavior at the general directorate for education in Riyadh, according to the variables of (the position, the academic qualification, and the number of years-of-service). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive (survey) method, and the questionnaire was used as tool for the present study, and applied on the study sample in the first semester of the academic year (1436-1437 ah). The population of the study consisted of all female department directors, their assistant and the educational supervisors at the general directorate for education in Riyadh, and their number is (1288) employees. And due to the large size of the population, a simple random sample was selected, representing (25%) of the total population, where the first study tool (questionnaire) was applied on the study sample which consisted of (322) employees. The study found a number of results, the most notably represented as follows: 1) the agreement of the study sample on the degree of need of practicing the organizational citizenship behavior at the general directorate for education in the Riyadh was large, and the dimensions were arranged in descending order as follows: courtesy, followed by civilized behavior, altruism, then the sportsmanship, and finally the conscience. 2) the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) or less, among the averages of the study sample responses on the degree of organizational citizenship behavior at the general administration for education in the Riyadh in all its dimensions, according to the difference of the variable of (position), while there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) or less among the averages of the study sample responses in the two dimensions (altruism, courtesy), according to the difference of the variable of (academic qualification), and in favor to the sample members whose academic qualification is bachelor (BA). In contrast, there were no statistically significant differences in the significance level (0.05) or less among the average of the study sample responses on the degree of organizational citizenship behavior at the general directorate for education in the Riyadh, in its three dimensions (sportsmanship, conscience, and civilized behavior), and in the total score of the axis, according to the difference of the variable (academic qualification). The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) or less among the averages of the study sample responses on the degree of organizational citizenship behavior at the general directorate for education in the Riyadh in the dimension (altruism), according to the difference of the variable (the number of years-of-service), and in favor to study samples members whose years-of-service is (10) years or more. In contrast the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) or less among the averages of the study sample responses in the four dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior (civility, sportsmanship, conscience, and civilized behavior), as well as in the total score of the axis, according to the difference of the variable (the number of the years-of-service). In light of analyzing the study literatures and results, was presented a number of recommendations were concluded, the most important of which was: attracting, training and recruiting the human resources that believe in the dimensions of the organizational citizenship behavior, and the importance of applying in the work environment, and connecting the incentives, rewards and bonuses systems with performance evaluation systems.
