The present study aimed to recognize the relationship between the types of brain dominance prevailing for university students and Meta-cognitive thinking level. To achieve the objectives of the study, brain dominance scale and Meta cognitive thinking scale were administered on a sample consisted of 140 students (boys and girls) among Sohag Education College students. The findings of the study revealed the following: 1) the prevailing type for Sohag Education College students is the right type. 2) There are no statistically significant differences in the prevailing type for students according to their gender or major. 3) Sample students' meta-cognitive thinking level was high. 4) There are differences in meta-cognitive thinking levels favoring girls. 5) There is a statistically significant relation between types of brain dominance and meta-cognitive thinking.
