The present study aimed to explore the degree of geography teachers' awareness of the sustainable development in Jordan. The population consisted of (52) male and female teachers from al-Quwaismeh directorate of education in Jordan for the academic year 2014/2015. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire, whose validity and stability were validated, was prepared including (26) items distributed into three fields. The findings showed the intermediate level of the teachers' awareness where the economic filed was ranked first, the ecological one was ranked second, while the social field was third. The findings also showed the non-existence of statistically indicative differences attributed to the academic qualification variable of the geography teachers' degree of awareness of the sustainable development. There were statistically indicative differences attributed to the variable of experiences which were in favor of the geography teachers with recent experiences. (Published Abstract)
