يحاول هذا التقرير تقديم اقتراح لجامعة الباحة يعتمد من خلاله إدخال التكنولوجيا في التعليم تحت عنوان "التعليم المركّب" كاستراتيجية تعليمية جديدة قائمة خلط التكنولوجيا في التعليم. كما يعرض التقرير لتطوّر "التعلم عن بعد" عبر التاريخ، محددا استخدامات هذا التعلم، حسناته وسيئاته، بالإضافة إلى المنهجية المعتمدة في "التعليم المركّب"، فضلاً عن العوامل المؤثرة به. كما تمت مناقشة خبرة جامعة الباحة مع إدخال التكنولوجيا في التعليم، من خلال إدخال "التعلم المركّب" المنظّم كاستراتيجية بديلة للتعلم. فمن خلال المحاولة التي قامت بها الجامعة ظهرت فاعلية هذا التعليم وكفاءته في تقديم المعرفة بهدف تلبية الاحتياجات التعليمية لمختلف الطلاب. This report proposes that Al-Baha University adopt “blended learning” as a technology-based teaching strategy. The report identifies the history of distant learning, its uses, advantages and disadvantage, the methodology of “blended learning”, as well as factors that are likely to impact learning. Also discussed is the history of distant learning at Al Baha University, by introducing structured “blended learning” as an alternate learning strategy, knowledge can be effectively and efficiently delivered in order to meet the learning needs of a variety students. A brief study sample of the use of e-learning technologies and user interface within the university are illustrated. (Published abstract)
