This study aims to Construct a Career Interest Scale “Form B” for 10th Basic Grade students in Jordan. The scale contains two parts: the first is composed of (9) subscales, Each subscale measures students’ preference of one of the(9) secondary educational branches, and contains (6)items reflecting cognitive, affective and psycho-motor aspects of preference with (2) items for each aspect, every item is followed by (3) statements(alternatives); the first means positive, the 2nd unddcided,and the 3rd negative preferences toward that branch. the second part consists of (36)items, each one contains(2)jobs which belong to two different secondary educational branches in a way that jobs of one branch share only one time with jobs of other branches, i.e. there are(72) jobs ; eight jobs for each branch. Content validity of the scales was verified through expert referees, items 'discrimination indices of the first part are of a range (0.77-0.4),while test re-test reliability of the scales ranges between (0.88-0.69)and classification reliability of the scales has the range of (0.91-0.61).One-way ANOVA results show statistically significant effect of the students’ branch on their performance at each subscale in favor of the scale of their branch. Correlation coefficients between students' scores on the scales reflect, somehow, vocational environments like those of Holland’s, so it’s recommended to use the scales as one of the criteria that is used for the distribution of 10TH Basic Grade students in Jordan on secondary educational branches.
