The study aimed at identifying explore the role of the external evaluation in developing the performance of education colleges in the Palestinian universities in Gaza governorates from the perspective of the teaching faculty members. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire included (64) items and it was distributed to a sample consisted of (183) members. Recovered them (146) questionnaire, and the researcher used appropriate statistical processors in data collection and analysis. The study concluded that the role of the external evaluation in the development of the performance of education colleges was rated as high the relative weight of their ratings was recorded at 68.37%. The researcher has drawn up the following recommendation to lay down specific and systematic mechanisms to ensure a wider participation of the teaching faculty members and students in formulating the vision and mission of the university; as such, participation will have a great impact on the different aspects of work.(Published Abstract)
