This study aimed to investigate the effect of using Instructional drama on improving the writing skills of tenth grade students. The subjects of the study were 45 students deliberately selected from Ma'in Secondary School for girls. The students were randomly distributed into two groups: experimental group (who were taught using Instructional drama) and control group (who were taught using the conventional method).To achieve the purpose of this study, the researchers developed a writing test to assess students writing skills in terms of form and content. The validaty and reliability were conducted. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences (a=0.05) in the writing skills (in terms of form and content) in favor of the treatment group. The researchers recommended the use of Instructional drama to improve the writing skills of tenth grade students.(Published Abstract)
