هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور منتديات الحوار والنقاش الإلكترونية في تعزيز الأداء الأكاديمي بين طلاب الدراسات العليا؛ إضافة إلى التعرف على أهم المعوقات التي تحول دون استخدامها بقسم المناهج وطرق التدريس بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية. وتم إجراء الدراسة على عينة من طلاب الدراسات العليا، تكونت من 107 طلاب وطالبات. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك دوراً كبيراً لمنتديات الحوار والنقاش الإلكترونية في تعزيز الأداء الأكاديمي، إذ جاءت بدرجة موافق بشدة، وبمتوسط حسابي بلغ 4.29. وأن هناك بعض المعوقات تحد من المشاركة في منتدى الحوار والنقاش الإلكتروني، وأهمها نقص مهارة استخدام الحاسب، فضلاً عن سلبية بعض الطلاب في منتدى الحوار والنقاش الإلكتروني التي تقلل دافعية المشاركة في النقاش. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية عند 0.05 في المتوسطات الحسابية تعزى لمتغيري: الجنس والمرحلة الدراسية. وفي ضوء النتائج خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات، وبعض المقترحات. The study aimed to identify the role of electronic forum discussion and dialogue in enhancing academic performance for graduate students, as well as to identify the most important obstacles that prevented it application, in department of curriculum and instruction at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. The study was conducted on a sample of graduate students consisted of 107 students. The study found that there is a big role of electronic forums discussion and dialogue in enhancing academic performance with degree Strongly Agree and mean 4.29, and there are some obstacles, such as, the lack of skill of using computer limits the participation in electronic forum discussion and debate, and negative of some students in the electronic forum discussion and debate reduces the motivation to participate. The results also showed no statistically significant differences at 0.05 averages due to the variables of grade and level of study. The study concluded with some recommendations, also the study concluded some suggestions. (Published abstract)
