The use of 2-parameter model as a response to a single theoretical model in a scaling inferential cognitive thinking items test on high school students in directorate of university district in Jordan [Article]
The present study aims to investigate the impact of the use of 2- parameter model as a response to a single theoretical models in a staging item test inferential cognitive thinking, and so through the answer to my question survey about the check assumptions respond to a single data sample responses on the test inferential thinking theory, and the extent of the data derived from responses agree the study sample with 2- parameter model assumptions as to respond to a single theoretical models individuals. This purpose and in order to have the researcher used a tool for the study is testing inferential to think, prepared by Ahmed Zaki Saleh 1) to measure the mental ability to infer, may be the study population consisted of all and high school students Directorate of District of the University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the academic year 2015- 2016m totaling (5274) students, according to official statistics of the Directorate of District of the University in Jordan's capital, while the study sample consisted of (226) students, and after the application of the study tool on a sample search and correct responses resulting from the application and processing of data statistical programs related, the study found results the following: The assumptions of IR Have been achieved, which are undimmed sodality (2.45), local independence with a value greater than 2) and Speediness. The results of the Individuals sample responses were consistent with the assumptions IRT model. The values of the discrimination parameter for distinguishing the vocabulary suitable for the model assumptions were between the values of 0.099 and 1.010 with an average of 0.68, while the values of the difficulty parameter were between (-2.453 , 1.264) with an average of (-3.024).
