This research aimed to identify the level of the psychological hardiness and agreeableness, detect differences in the level of psychological hardiness, according to variables of gender and specialization, and identify the relationship between the psychological hardiness and Agreeableness among the students of the University of Karbala. The researcher applied a measure psychological hardiness which built by her and agreeableness measure of the list of the big five factors of personality for 1992, Costa & McCrae, which was adopted from Saleem 1999 on stratified random sample of (461) students . By using the equation of Cronbach Alpha and Chi square test, T test for one sample, to two independent samples, Pearson correlation coefficient and Tow-Way Anova without interaction. The researcher reached founded that university students have a high level of the psychological hardness and agreeableness. There are differences between males and females in the level of psychological hardiness in favor of males. There are no differences in the level of the Psychological Hardiness between specialized scientific and humanitarian. (Published Abstract)
