الاستماع إلى الأطفال، ومحاولة فهم وجهات نظرهم، وعمليات تفكيرهم، ضرورة حيوية لإلقاء الضوء على فهمنا لطبيعة تفكيرهم. الغرض من هذا البحث وصف وتفسير البناء السردي لأطفال الروضة في ضوء تفاعلهم مع بعض الأعمال الفنية. ويقدم السرد فرصاً فريدة للأطفال لاستكشاف الأفكار والمعاني. شمل البحث 20 طفلاً في إحدى روضات الأطفال بالهفوف- الأحساء، متوسط أعمارهم ما بين 4.9: 5.9 سنوات، مقسمين إلى 4 مجموعات، بمعدل 9 جلسات لكل مجموعة، واستخدم البحث أسلوب الملاحظة بالمشاركة، ليكون استكشافياً ووصفياً وتفسيرياً للمواقف على طبيعتها. وتم جمع البيانات من خلال التسجيل الصوتي، والكتابي، ورسوم الأطفال، وتم تحليلها وتحديد الموضوعات التي يتحدثون عنها أثناء أنشطة السرد. توصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن سرود الأطفال تنقسم إلى عدة تصنيفات، تتمثل في حديث في الفن، والمنظور الشخصي، وتقصي الحقائق، وخبرات ونوادر، والنشاط الرمزي، مما أتاح فهماً أعمق لطبيعة تفكير الأطفال، والطريقة التي يدركون بها عالمهم. ويوصي البحث بدمج الفنون البصرية في برامج القراءة والكتابة واللعب، وهذا في حد ذاته يقدم فهماً أعمق للرواة الصغار، ويطور إحساساتهم وفهمهم للعالم. وكل ذلك يدخل ضمن ممارسات المنهج. Listening to children and trying to understand their perspectives, thought processes, and experiences is a necessary and vital way of illuminating our understanding of the nature of their thinking. The purpose of this study is to describe and interpret young children’s shared narrative construction and story acting practices, in the light of their interaction with some artwork for the top artists in the world. Narrative and story acting offer children unique opportunities to explore ideas, thoughts, and questions. The study included 20 children from kindergarten in Hofuf Al Ahsa. The kindergarteners worked in four separate small groups of five. Each group took part in 9 sessions. The children ranged in age from 4.9 to 5.9 years old. The primary methodology is that of participant observation. The design of this study is exploratory, descriptive, and interpretive in nature. The data in this study was gathered via audiotape and observational field notes. Data analysis primarily consisted of reviewing field notes to identify themes, patterns, events, and actions in the children’s narrative activities as well as to generate working hypotheses. The results were that the narratives of children are divided into several categories represented in the art talk, personal perspective, facts and behavioral scripts, Symbolic activity, personal anecdote. Allowing for a deeper understand¬ing of the nature of children’s thinking, and the way they become aware of their world. Research recommends integrating the Visual arts programs in reading, writing and playing. This in itself provides a deeper understanding of young narrators, develops an understanding of the world and reflexions. All this is included in the curriculum practices, blending representation with storytelling in the classroom is an important part in children’s educational experience. (Published abstract)
