The aim of this study is to investigate the level of physics literacy in the students of the Open Educational College (the teachers of mathematics and science) and its relation with self-efficiency and accomplishment motive. The study sample consisted of 26 male and female students from the department of science, Open Educational College, Diyala Provence. A test was designed to assess the level of Physics Literacy, as well as adopting two scales for self-efficiency and accomplishment motive. The results showed a decline in the level of physics literacy in the students. It also revealed that there is a statistically approved positive correlation between physics literacy and self-efficiency, whereas the existence of statistically unapproved positive relation between physics literacy and accomplishment motive. The results did not show any statistically approved difference on the level 0.05 in the level of physics literacy related to the sex variable. (Published Abstract)
