The study aims at identifying the level of life quality of hearing impaired enrolled in special education centers in Al-Balqa Governorate during the academic year of 2013/2014. Also, the study aims at identifying the effect of severity of disability, gender, and nature of disability variables and the chronological age their quality of Life. The sample consisted of (86) hearing impairment students enrolled in hearing impairment centers in Al-Balqa, Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive survey method. Also, the researcher had developed the quality of life measurement which was prepared by Amy and Streufer (2010) in order to suit the Jordanian society. The measurement reliability and validity were examined. The results of the study indicated the following: The level of life quality among the study sample was moderate and Presence of statistically significant differences among females and males in favor of males, In addition there was presence of statistically significant differences among students of severe and moderate disabilities in the level of life quality in favor of students of moderate disable except for the communication. The results showed statistically significant differences among students of birth disability and acquired one in the level of life quality in favor of students of acquired impairment. And Presence of statistically significant differences among students of moderately and severely disabled in the level of life quality in favor of students of moderate impairment. Finally, the results showed presence of statically significant differences on the level of life quality among hearing impairment students due to the ages; less than ten years and above ten years in favor of ten years and above. According to the study results, this study recommend studying other variables than the ones used in this study, and its relationship of life quality among students of hearing impairment such as achievement, economic rank educational place, and the self-concept.
