This study aimed to reveal the importance of the electronic sport newspapers in forming the public opinion about the sport from the perspective of students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the Yarmouk University. The descriptive approach was applied through a questionnaire on sample consisted of (616) students from both genders. The results of the study indicated that there is a high level to the role of the sport newspapers in forming the public opinion from the perspectives of the students in all fields (the professional, the general features of the electronic news, the sporting culture, and the knowledge). It was known that the electronic sport newspapers are considered important in forming the public opinion about the sport of males more than the females. There were statically significant at (α=0.05) for the study and the tool according to the variable of gender for the males. Moreover, the electronic sport newspapers are considered important in forming the public opinion, regardless the difference in their accommodations (weather the rural, or in the city). The results of the study also showed that there is no statically significant (α=0.05) according to the variable of the accommodation. It was recommended in the necessity of developing the content of the electronic sport newspapers, in order to contribute in attracting the females for what provided including electronic media content serve the public opinion independently.
