هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فعالية التعلّم النشط باستخدام استراتيجية خرائط العقل في تحسين مهارات التفكير الاستدلالي والدافعية الداخلية للتعلم والتحصيل الدراسي. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 40 طالبا، قسّموا عشوائيا إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية وعددها 19 طالبا؛ وضابطة وعددها 21 طالبا. وأعد الباحث اختبار التفكير الاستدلالي، واستبانة الدافعية الداخلية للتعلم، واختبارا تحصيليا للمادة العلمية؛ وقام بتدريس المجموعة التجريبية باستخدام استراتيجية خرائط العقل، في حين تم تدريس المجموعة الضابطة بالطريقة الاعتيادية. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك فرقا دالا إحصائيا بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في كلّ من مهارات التفكير الاستدلالي، والدافعية الداخلية للتعلم والتحصيل الدراسي؛ لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. This study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of mind map training in developing reasoning thinking skills and intrinsic motivation for learning and enhancing academic achievement. The study sample consisted of 40 students from Teachers' College of King Saud University. Students were randomly divided into two groups: one as an experimental group with 19 students and a control group with 21 students. The following tools were used: classes using mind map strategy, reasoning thinking test, a questionnaire to measure intrinsic motivation for learning and an academic achievement test. While the researcher taught the experimental group using mind mapping, he employed a traditional teaching method with the control group. Results revealed statistically significant differences between both groups in terms of reasoning thinking skills, intrinsic motivation and academic achievement in favor of the experimental group.
