The purpose of this study is to detect the relationship between intelligence and some of the individual variables (sex, severity of handicap, grades) in children with hearing disability. The research community was centers of children with hearing disability in Mostaganem and Oran. The sample consisted of 140 hearing disabled children. They were selected in comprehensive sampling taking all children except the ones who had other disability or illness. The study used Good enough Draw-a-Man test, and for data analysis spss (v.20) was used. The study found no significant differences in intelligence scores according to sex, severity of handicap (moderate, severe, profound deafness), while it revealed significant differences in intelligence scores among hearing disabled children according to grade between the second grade pronunciation and the other three grades (second, third, fourth grade of primary school). The study proposed some recommendations: considering the severity of the hearing disability in class division, and on the other hand providing an adapted curriculum for hearing disabled children taking into account their cognitive characteristics.
