لا شك أن المجتمع المصري قبل ثورتي 25 يناير و30 يونيو اختلف اختلافا كليا عنة بعدهما، ولا سيما في المجال السياسي، حتى تحول الحديث من حديث أفلام ومسلسلات وكرة قدم إلى حديث لرسم وتحليل مستقبل مصر ما بعد عهود الاستبداد والفساد، فقد استطاع الشعب المصري أن يخرج من حالة الصمت واللامبالاة ليعلن كلمته وإرادته الحرة في التغيير والمطالبة بحقوقه في العيش في حياة كريمة. ومما لا شك فيه أن ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بوجه عام والمكفوفين بوجه خاص، كان لهم دور فعال في تلك الثورات، ليعلنوا عن مشاركتهم كشريحة اجتماعية لها الواجبات نفسها في المجتمع المصري، وانخرطوا مع الشعب المصري بكافة ليعلنوا تبنيهم للثورة وحقهم في المشاركة في القرار المصري بالوقوف ضد حكم الاستبداد. ومن هنا يمكننا طرح السؤال التالي: هل برامج الرأي "التوك شو" في القنوات الفضائية المصرية تلعب دوراً في التوعية بالقضايا السياسية للشباب بالأحداث وتكوين مفاهيم سياسية حول بعض القضايا المحورية في المجتمع؟ وهل تسهم في التأثير على رأي الفرد في الحكم على المواقف والأحداث السياسية التي تدور حوله؟ وهذا ما ستحاول الدراسة الحالية الإجابة عليه وعلى تساؤلات هامة أخرى.
