هدف البحث التعرف على الآثار النفسية والاجتماعية للعولمة وفقاً لأهميتها النسبية، وكذلك التعرف على الفروق بين متوسطات درجات عينة البحث (وعددها 125) على المقياس وفقاً للمتغيرات الآتية: النوع والتخصص (إنسانية، وعلوم تطبيقية). وخلص البحث إلى أن: 1) الآثار النفسية للعولمة قد ترتبت بحسب أهميتها النسبية إلى 16 مرتبة. منها آثار نفسية سلبية وإيجابية. 2) الآثار الاجتماعية للعولمة قد ترتبت بحسب أهميتها النسبية إلى 21 مرتبة منها آثار اجتماعية سلبية وإيجابية. 3) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الجنسين في الآثار النفسية والاجتماعية للعولمة. 4) هناك فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة على مقياس الآثار النفسية والاجتماعية للعولمة وفقاً لمتغير التخصص، ولصالح ذوي التخصصات الإنسانية. The present study aims at: 1) Identifying the psychological and social effects of globalization according to their relative significance. 2) Identifying the differences in the average scores of the sample (125 individuals) with on the scale of “the psychological and social effects of globalization” based on the following variables: a) gender, b) specialization (humanities/ applied sciences). The study came out with the following findings: 1) The psychological effects have been ordered into 16 ranks based on their significance. Some of these psychological effects were positive and some were negative. 2) The social effects of globalization have been ordered into 21 ranks according to their significance. 3) There are no statistically significant differences between the sample average scores with regard to the psychological and social effects of globalization based on their gender. 4) There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample individuals with regard to the ‘specialization’ and in favor of humanities.
