هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف القيم (السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والدينية)، المتضمنة في مناهج التربية الوطنية في المرحلة الابتدائية في الكويت، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي، وأسلوب تحليل المحتوى. كما اشتملت عينة الدراسة على كتب التربية الوطنية الخمسة الأولى في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في الكويت. وباستخدام التكرارات والنسب المئوية لقائمة معايير تم إعدادها لهذه الدراسة، أظهرت النتائج أن القيم في كتب التربية الوطنية الكويتية في المرحلة الابتدائية اعتمدت على تخطيط غير منظم، لا يتحقق فيه الشمول، أو التوازن، أو مراعاة التدرج، كما أن تكرار القيم تأرجح من صف إلى آخر. The present study aims to identify the values (political, social, economic and religious), included in the National Education curriculum in primary school in Kuwait. Descriptive approach was used, as well as the content analysis method. The study examined a sample of the books of the National Education in basic education in Kuwait; using frequencies and percentages. Results showed that the values in the National Education books are stated randomly and lack inclusiveness, balance, and proper graduation. Moreover, frequencies were inconsistently distributed on grades. (Published abstract)
