The study aims to find out the perceptions of secondary school students in the Directorate of Zarka 1 in Jordan to the contemporary educational concepts, and knowing the differences in the students perceptions that are attributed to the variables of sex, the secondary school branch, the school, and the students overall average. The researcher uses the descriptive and analytical approach. The study sample consists of (347) male and female students from the study community’s total number (4986). A questionnaire was developed to gather information for the study subjects. It consists of forty items, distributed on five key areas: Democratic Education, Continuing Education, Technological Education, Environmental educati on, and Individual differences. The study finds out a number of results, including the perceptions of students' contemporary educational concepts that are moderate with an average of (3. 03 ), and that there are no statistically significant differences in the perceptions of students due to the st udy variables. The study has come out with a number of recommendations including developing the curriculums and courses to suit the nature of the con temporary changes both in terms of content or in terms of the modalities and methods of its implementation, knowledge, positive values and attitudes’ development that are related to technology employment in everyday life, and focusing on entering of the co ntemporary concepts related to each area in all fields of the study.
