هدفت الدراسة الحالية استطلاع عينة من العاملين الإداريين والأكاديميين في بعض الجامعات الفلسطينية حول أبعاد الإستراتيجية المقترحة لتهيئة هذه الجامعات للتصنيف العالمي للجامعات، تكونت هذه العينة من (192) فرداً طبق عليهم استبانة مكونة من (37) فقرة تمثل كل منها عنصرا من الإستراتيجية المقترحة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات: الأول متعلق بالموارد البشرية، والثاني متعلق بالناحية المادية، والثالث متعلق بالناحية الإدارية والأكاديمية. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة لعناصر المختلفة في المجالات الثلاثة كانت بمستوى مهم جداً. ومن جهة أخر بينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في مستو تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة على المجالات الإستراتيجية المقترحة لتهيئة الجامعات الفلسطينية للتصنيف العالمي للجامعات تبعاً للمتغيرات: الجنس، والتخصص، والمؤهل العلمي، ونوع الوظيفة، والخبرة، والرتبة العلمية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، اقترحت عدة توصيات كان أهمها دعوة الجامعات الفلسطينية لتعزيز المعايير ومؤشرات الأداء الكمية ذات العلاقة بنتائج هذه الدراسة والتمسك بها والعمل على أساسها لتمكين الجامعات من الارتقاء والتطور، وأن تعمل هذه الجامعات على تكثيف الجهود لمواصلة التطور والارتقاء بها إلى مصاف الجامعات العالمية. This study aimed to survey a sample of administrators and academics who work in some Palestinian universities about the dimensions of the proposed strategy for preambling these universities for the global ranking of universities. This sample consisted of (192) individuals whom applied to them a questionnaire consisting of (37) items each representing an element of the proposed strategy, distributed to three domains: the human resources, the physical resource aspect, and that of the administrative and academic aspect. Results showed that the study sample's estimates of the three areas were at the level of "very important". On the other hand, results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the regarding the study sample's estimates on the proposed strategy areas according to: sex, specialization, academic qualification, type of function, experience and professional rank. In light of these results many recommendations were suggested: important of which is to encourage Palestinian universities to enhance quantitative performance indicators related to the results of this study, upheld and act upon them to enable these universities to improve and develop. Moreover, universities should intensify efforts to further promote and upgrade to world class universities. (Published abstract)
