This research aims at measuring action research skills among pre-service primary class female teachers, making a training program to develop their action research skills, and measuring effectiveness of the program in developing their action research skills. This research used a quasi-experimental approach based on having one experimental group of pre-service female teachers; they are students of the eighth level of Methodology Department, program of primary classes female teachers, in Princess Nora Bent Abdul Rahman University, academic year 1435-1436H. They are 39 female teacher students. To achieve the aims of this research, the female researcher put a suggested training program, achievement test to measure degree of research skills among these female students, and a card to measure their performance in skills of action research. Results showed that there are statistically significant differences at level of α ≤ 0.05 between averages of individuals of the study in the pre and post measurement of knowledge and skills dimensions of action research skills. This refers to the effectiveness of the suggested program in developing skills of action research among pre-service female class teachers of the primary stage. The researcher suggested the necessity of a course of action research to be taught in Faculties of education, and that it can be a graduation project in these faculties, and to encourage teachers to do action researches to solve field problems.
