هدفت هذه الدراسة الى قياس مستوى وعي طلبة المهن الطبية المساعدة للقضايا البيو أخلاقية الناتجة عن بعض تطبيقات التكنولوجيا الحيوية بالإضافة إلى استقصاء المبادئ البيو أخلاقية التي يستندون إليها في حكمهم على قضايا البيو أخلاقية الحيوية، وتأثرها بكل من الجنس والمستوى الدراسي. وقد بلغ عدد أفراد العينة 108 طالباً وطالبة، من طلبة المهن الطبية المساعدة في كلية تدريب عمان/الأونروا، وتكونت أداة الدراسة من استبانة ضمت ست قضايا في الأخلاقيات الحيوية، وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة، تم استخدام المتوسطات والانحرافات المعيارية والنسب المئوية وكل من اختبار كا 2"Chi square" واختبار "ت (t-test)" للعينات المستقلة للكشف عن درجة وعي الطلبة بالقضايا البيو أخلاقية الناتجة عن تطبيقات التكنولوجيا الحيوية، والمبادئ البيو أخلاقية التي يستند إليها الطلبة في حكمهم على قضايا البيو أخلاقية. وبينت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة وعي الطلبة بشكل عام (الكلي) كانت بدرجة متوسطة، وأن أكثر المبادئ البيو أخلاقية التي يستندون إليها في حكمهم على قضايا البيو أخلاقية هو المبدأ الديني ثم المبدأ النفعي، وحلّ المبدأ الاستقلالي في الترتيب الأخير. This study investigated the level of awareness of paramedical students to ethical issues arising from some biotechnology applications, and the ethical principles on which they have based on their judgment on bioethical dilemmas. The sample of the study consists of 108 male and female paramedical students assist in Amman Training Center / UNRWA. The tool of the study was represented by six dilemmas in bioethics. Means, standard deviations and percentages were counted. To explore the differences in the degree of students' awareness, "T" (t-test) test for independent samples, and Chi square was used to reveal ethical principles underlying the students’ judgment on ethical dilemmas. The results of the study showed that the degree of students' awareness of ethical issues has been medium. Results also indicated that the religious principle came in the first order, the utilitarian principle second in the standings, the autonomy principle in the third. (Published abstract)
