هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة واقع العنف الأسري ضد الأطفال في المجتمع الأردني من وجهة نظر الأطفال أنفسهم، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم بناء استبانة مكونة من 21 فقرة، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مجال العنف الاجتماعي جاء بالمرتبة الأولى، ويليه مجال العنف الجسدي، ويليه مجال العنف النفسي، وجاءت تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة لدرجة تعرضهم للعنف الأسري بدرجة كبيرة، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير الجنس ولصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير تعليم الأب، ولصالح تقديرات ذوي تعليم (بكالوريوس فأعلى)، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير تعليم الأم، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير مكان السكن ولصالح تقديرات ذوي مكان السكن (قرية، ومخيم). The present study seeks to identify the status of family violence against children in the Jordanian society from their view points. To achieve the study’s goal, a 21–item questionnaire was designed. Results demonstrated that social violence domain was ranked top, followed by the physical violence and finally ranked the psychological violence domain. participants estimated their exposure to family violence at high; and there were differences attributed to gender in favor of females; and differences attributed to father education in favor of those holding the bachelor’s degree or higher. However, there were no significant differences attributed to mother’s education. Finally, there were differences attributed to residence in favor of village, camp residents. (Published abstract)
