This study aimed at investigating the relationship between adult attachement styles and social support. The sample of the study consisted of 209 under graduates at Al’hussein Bin Talal University in the first semester during the year 2013-2014. To achieve this purpose, social attachement styles and social support scales were administrated. The results of the study revealed that the most common attachement style was the secure one. Also there were no significant differences in attachement styles refers to gender, or educational level, or the interaction between them. Likewise, regression analysis indicated that the three attachement styles: secure, avoidant, and anxious-ambivalent contributed significantly to the prediction of social support. Counseling and educational implications of these findings were discussed. (Published abstract)
