هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد أبعاد التنمية المهنية للمعلمين، وتعرف المعوقات التي تحول دون قيام الأكاديمية المهنية بالدور المنوط بها في تنمية المعلمين مهنيا، وتقديم تصور مقترح يمكن من خلاله تفعيل الدور التربوي للأكاديمية المهنية في تنمية المعلمين مهنيا. ونظرا لطبيعة الدراسة، وأهدافها، إستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. وبالنسبة للعينة روعي أن تكون العينة عشوائية، وممثلة من المديرين والمعلمين في جميع التخصصات الأكاديمية والتربوية بمحافظة البحيرة، وبعد استبعاد الاستبانات غير المكتملة وصل عدد أفراد العينة الإجمالي الى 185، والاستبانة كانت هي الأداة الأساسية للدراسة الميدانية، والمقابلة الشخصية غير المقننة للمديرين والمعلمين المتدربين في الأكاديمية المهنية. وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة في ضوء المعالجات الإحصائية بأن جميع مفردات المحاور الخاصة بتقويم الدور التربوي للأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين، قد وافق عليها جميع أفراد العينة من القيادات الإدارية، والمعلمين، على تحققها بدرجة متوسطة، وضعيفة على الرغم من أهميتها في إحداث التنمية المهنية والتطوير المهني للمعلم. وقد كشفت الدراسة عن وجود مجموعة من المعوقات تواجه الأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين عند قيامها بأدوارها في التنمية المهنية المستدامة للمعلمين. وفي ضوء الإطار النظري للدراسة، وفي ضوء ما أسفرت عنه نتائج الدراسة الميدانية، حاولت الباحثة وضع تصور مقترح تضمن مجموعة من السبل والإجراءات التي قد تسهم في تفعيل دور الأكاديمية المهنية للمعلمين في هذا المجال. This contemporary study is identifying the dimensions of the professional development of teachers, identifying the educational role which is assigned to be contributed by the professional academy in the professional development of teachers, discovering the cores of deficiency in the role played by the professional academy in developing the teacher professionally, identifying the obstacles that academy to perform its entrusted role in developing the teachers professionally, introducing a concept through which the role of the academy in developing the teachers professionally activates. According to the nature, aims and importance of the study, the study uses the descriptive method. Concerning the sample, it was considered that the sample is random and represented by managers and teachers in the entire academic and educational specializations in El-Behera governorate, after excluding incomplete questionnaires, the total number of the sample reached 185. Resolution is the main tool of the field study, through the codified interviews with the managers and teachers training in the professional academy, through the remarks of the researched as an authenticated trainer in the professional academy in El-Behera governorate, there were other remarks from the trained persons about the presented programs and the scientific content given in those programs. After collecting the data, the researcher resorted to treat them statistically and to sort and classify them with suitable statistic methods that can be useful in explaining the results. Therefore, the suitable method is to find repetitions, percentages and mean average for every item of all the items. Under the theoretical frame of the study, under the results of the field study, the researcher tried to set a recommended concept containing a group of methods and procedures that contribute in activating the educational role of the professional teacher academies in this field.
